The Lion In Winter is a historical comedy about deceiving and scheming to attain the crown. The show is a psychological battle between family members as each tries to outwit the other. The costumes will assist the audience in following “the game” by emphasizing the color gold throughout their garments. As each character believes they are winning, the amount of gold will increase, and as they lose it will decrease. This technique will be achieved through swappable trims and accessories. In addition, characters who appear to be on the same team will also share similar colors to further assist the audience.
